International Festival “Word Ballet Stars” in Donetsk, Ukraine.
From 1994 Donetsk is the host of International Festival “Word Ballet Stars”. The founder and artistic director of the Festival is the People’s Artist of Ukraine Vadim Pisarev. The first Festival in 1994 was held on the stage of the Palace “Yunost”. All the consequent annual Festivals took place in the building of Donetsk State Academic Russian Opera and Ballet Theatre. During of that period more 130 outstanding ballet-dancers from more than 25 countries participated the Festival in Donetsk. At the Festivals were shown more 65 performances of past and contemporary choreographs.
