A principal conductor
Born in 1971 in the town of Krivoy Rog,
Dnepropetrovsk region, Ukraine.
- 1986 - 1990 Krivoy Rog State Music College;
- 1990 - 1997 Higher State Music Institute named
after M.Lysenko in Lvov: Opera and Symphony conducting faculty.
- 1990 - 1996 Head of orchestra at Suzirya Folk
Ensemble of Songs and Dances, Lvov;
- 1996 - 1999 Conducting Lvov State Academic
Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Ivan Franko;
- 1999 to present Conducting Donetsk State
Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Anatoliy Solovyanenko;
- 2000 a principal conductor of the Theatre.
There are more than 50 opera and ballet
performances in the repertoire.
Mr. Victor Lemko was on tour in Italy, Spain,
France, Belgium, the USA with the opera and ballet perfomances as well as the popular
symphony choral programs. Among them:
"Requiem" by G.Verdi;
"Requiem" by W.Mozart;
"Karmina Burana"by K.Orff;
"Missa Solemnis" by L.Beethoven.
Repeatedly Mr. Victor Lemko was
conducting the orchestra of Donetsk State Philharmonic named after Sergey Prokofyev
playing symphonic programmes.
Since 1999 Mr. Victor Lemko is a
principal conductor of the annual International Festival "World Ballet Stars" in
Recording at Donetsk Television and Radio.
